A range of services are available for people with a disability. The cost of many of these services are heavily subsidised by the City of Greater Dandenong, and the State and Commonwealth Governments. In many cases the client pays for any materials required, plus a small service fee.
Council provides a TTY (telephone typewriter) contact service for the hearing impaired. By calling the TTY service on 9239 5153 you will be connected to a staff member who can answer all your queries.
The Disability Consultative Reference Group provides assistance and advice to all people with disabilities who live, work, study or use facilities within the City of Greater Dandenong.
The group meets regularly to consult with people with disabilities to improve their opportunities to be involved in the community.
For more information on the Disability Consultative Reference Group call 9239 5153 (TTY access also).
