'Share your Story' is the theme for this year's Library and Information Week.
If you haven’t visited your local library for a while, it's a great week to come down - you might be surprised at all the great changes that have happened!
Our libraries have many new items, new ways of accessing information and new stories – and soon a new building in the heart of central Dandenong.
Whatever your information and reading needs are, our skilled library staff are always here to guide you through the many free materials and services available.

Fortnightly Springvale and Dandenong Libraries
The Coffee Club provides social interaction opportunities for frail older people, people with disabilities and/or their caregivers residing in the City of Greater Dandenong.
Council’s specialised community transport collects members from their homes, takes them to the Libraries where they can meet, enjoy a cuppa and a chat, borrow their books, and be driven back home again.
Library staff provide help in using the Library, locating books, magazines, newspapers, CDs, DVDs and other materials to enhance the independent living of Club members.
Club membership is free; however, eligibility criteria apply. For further information, assessment and bookings, contact the City of Greater Dandenong Community Care Information and Referral Officer on 8558 7902.
