Face to Face (F2F) is a three year community project that will capture the history and everyday life in one of Australia’s most diverse communities - the Melbourne suburb of Springvale. It will involve people of all ages and backgrounds who live, work and visit Springvale.

The project will document how people see and think about their community. It will also build greater understanding, tolerance and acceptance of difference in the community.

The project also has an educative role. F2F will be holding workshops on interviewing and photography skills for people wanting to get involved in the project to give people the skills to tell their own stories in words, images and new media. It will also encourage people to collect and document the stories of others.

It’s hoped that F2F will encourage people from other parts of Melbourne to discover Springvale.
