The City of Greater Dandenong provides Community Support Grants of up to $20,000 to support the activities of local communities.

Funding is available to assist local groups and organisations with programs and events that will benefit the community and promote health and wellbeing.

Funding rounds

There are two rounds of the program each year:

• Round 1 - closed
  (for projects between July 2013 – June 2014)
  
  
• Round 2 - 29 July - 5pm Friday 6 September 2013 
  (for projects between January – December 2014) 

Changes to the Community Support Grants Program

Please note there have been changes to the rules and criteria for the Community Support Grants for 2013.

All applicants are strongly advised to attend an information session and to read the guidelines and forms carefully.

Information sessions

Groups are encouraged to attend an information session to find out more about the Community Support Grants, how to apply and what the selection criteria are. Each session also includes a grant writing workshop.

All round 1 information sessions have been conducted. Round 2 information session dates will be announced later in the year.
