The Walker St Gallery and arts Centre - our home of the visual arts, celebrates and enhances our great city with it’s diverse range of exhibitions, artist talks and monthly openings.

We bringing energy and vibrancy to the arts with a contemporary flavor.

The Walker St Gallery and Arts Centre hosts an exciting range of high quality and diverse exhibitions from leading Australian artists to internationally acclaimed children’s book illustrators.

With new exhibitions every month we invite you to come and enjoy the warm and welcoming environment of the Gallery.

The Walker Street Gallery and Arts Centre is funded by the City of Greater Dandenong and is open free to the public. The gallery charges artists a fee to exhibit, in line with other local government galleries and artist-run spaces. 

The Centre also consists of a studio performing arts theatre, and meeting rooms.  These spaces can be hired by the public.

Parking is available on site (off Mason Street). Additional parking is also available on Walker Street, at the Walker Street Carpark (50 metres from the Arts Centre).

Buses and trains are also located nearby. The Dandenong Train Station located at the end of Robinson Street (100 metres away) and features a bus terminal.
