Food Services (Meals on Wheels)
The City of Greater Dandenong's Food Services can provide a range of quality meals to a person's home when it becomes difficult for them to cook for themselves.
Food Services can also supply meals to many senior citizens clubs within the City of Greater Dandenong. Whether a club requires meals weekly, monthly or for a special occasion, Food Services can help.
Please be advised that Greater Dandenong's Meals on Wheels are supplied by Community Chef, who have confirmed that their food is not affected by the reported health scare. There is no risk to residents using the City of Greater Dandenong's Food Services.

Menus and meals
Seasonal menus based on a four week rotation are provided. Each day recipients can choose a main meal, a side dish, a sweet, fruit or yoghurt and also receive a soup and juice.
The meal portions are in line with the Australian Guide to Healthy Eating and Dietary Guidelines for Australians.
Meals are prepared by a state-of-the-art purpose built facility in Altona, which was established by 20 Victorian local governments.
Delivery of meals
Cook-chilled meals are delivered from a purpose built distribution centre within the municipality. They are delivered to homes by community volunteers who generously give their time to help others.
