Film Making Workshops Opportunity

Are you an aspiring film maker who is keen to learn more about film production?

As part of this year’s Short Cuts Film Festival, Council will be launching its inaugural Short Cuts Film Production Program. The seven-week mentorship course is designed for young people aged 15 to 25, who live, work or study in the City of Greater Dandenong.

Using professional-grade equipment and resources, participants will be able to make their own short film based around the theme Home. The course will cover everything from camera skills, script writing, acting, editing and project management and will be held throughout June and July.

The films created will premier as part of Shorter Cuts 2019 program which will be held on Sunday 6 October.

If you are interested in participating in the course please contact Greater Dandenong Council’s Community Arts Program Officer Hanann Al Daqqa at or phone 8571 5147.
