August events

Sunday 19 August, 12pm-1pm - Dandee Donut Eating Competition

Dandenong Market will be hosting the 2018 Dandee Donut Eating Competition on Sunday 19 August.

Over 5 rounds, market visitors will be challenged to devour as many donuts as thy can in two minutes. The top fie contestants will compete in the final round to see how quickly 20 Dandee Donuts can be eaten.

September events

Sunday 2 September, 10am-4pm - Curry Festival

Join in the Curry Festival as the Dandenong Market comes alive will a full day of live performances and free activities for the whole family to enjoy. Featuring fifteen new food trucks and stalls, in addition to the thirty permanent street food traders, it is certainly a day not to be missed.

Sunday 22 September - Sunday 7 October, 11am-3pm - Kids Craft School Holiday Workshops

These school holidays, the Dandenong Market will keep the kids entertained with a variety of free craft workshops where children can create fun craft. The workshops will run throughout the school holidays, taking place on every market day from 22 September to 7 October from 11am-3pm.

Sunday 23 September, 10am-4pm - Full Moon Festival

The Full Moon Festival celebrates the brightest and fullest moon, a traditional Chinese custom that sybolises peace, prosperity and family reunion. Visitors can delight in a jam-packed schedule of entertainment including the awe-inspiring lion dance and dragon dance. There will be food trucks and stalls selling deliciously authentic Asian street food.

October events

Sunday 14 October, 10am-4pm - Unity in Diversity Festival

The Southern Migrant and Refugee Centre invite the community to the UNITY in Diversity Festival, a festival for diverse communities celebrating multicultural Australia. Enjoy great food from around the world, live entertainment, super fun kids zone, local business pop-up expo, launch of the Dandy Makers Market and much, much more!

Sunday 28 October, 10am-3pm - Halloween 

Dandenong Market will be celebrating Halloween with a day of ghoulish and ghastly fun on Sunday 28 October. Enjoy Trick or Treat Treasure hunts, roving performers and much much more.

November events

Sunday 4 November, 10am-4pm - Diwali Festival

Dandenong Market will be celebrating the Festival of Lights with a fun day of free entertainment for the whole family. Enjoy traditional live music and Bollywood-inspired performances with an array of food trucks and stalls to help you indulge.

Sunday 25 November, 10am-4pm - Unicorn Party

Dandenong Market is celebrating everything magical and extraordinary with a unicorn party. With a variety of fun activities and craft for the kids and unicorn products, the whole family will have a wonderful day out.
