Jane will share how she has brought ethical leadership to her role at SMCT and the culture of trust, merit and mutual respect that has emerged. As we all work within a continuously changing environment, Jane will also talk about the concept of ‘change ahead of change’ - as well as new and complementary business models.
A fellow of the Vincent Fairfax Centre for Ethical Leadership, Jane is a strong and visible leader who engenders a sense of commitment and confidence in those around her. Previously, as Crown’s General Manager of Corporate Services, Jane drove a relentless focus on customer satisfaction and brought that focus to SMCT.
As Chair of Dandenong Market, Julie will talk about its role and the importance of building a model for sustainable growth. Understanding the community and leading change through action – and how this is reflected in the market offerings is a key area of focus for Julie and she will talk about how this has been achieved.
Julie is also a Trust Member of the SMCT and is involved with a number of community organisations across a range of disciplines, with her focus on corporate governance, social responsibility and financial management seeing her in constant demand. Julie is also Chair of Victorian Tourism Awards Judging Panel and a national judge for the Australian Tourism Awards.
