Noble Park Aquatic Centre Temporary Pool Closure

Noble Park Aquatic Centre Temporary Pool Closure

18 May 2017

In recent months Council and the YMCA have been working with the contractor to address tiling issues at Noble Park Aquatic Centre (NPAC).

In order to address the issue both the outdoor 50-metre pool and the indoor heated pools will need to close for a period of time.

The works are scheduled to commence on Tuesday 13 June. Every effort will be made to stagger the works in order to minimise disruption to pool users and to ensure the facility can still remain open.

Regular updates on how this temporary closure will impact members and pool users will be available on both Council’s website and NPAC’s website. Social media updates will also be provided throughout the works.

Swim lesson participants whose classes cannot continue at NPAC during any period of these works will be given the option to attend lessons at Dandenong Oasis, corner Heatherton Road and Cleeland Street in Dandenong. Alternatively the option will also be available to suspend enrolments for the period of the works at no additional cost.

Aquatic and Health Club members will have their membership upgraded to a Full Access Membership, allowing access to Dandenong Oasis at no additional cost. Alternatively their memberships can also be suspended.

Council and the YMCA are committed to providing the community with a state-of-the-art aquatic facility.

If you would like to discuss the impact of this closure further please don’t hesitate to contact  NPAC on 9546 7955.
