Greater Dandenong's Sustainability Awards Launched for 2018
06 November 2017
Are you playing your part in helping Greater Dandenong become one of Australia’s most sustainable cities by 2030?
If the answer is yes then now is your chance to be recognised and celebrated for the work you are doing.
Entries for the Greater Dandenong Sustainability Awards are now open.
The awards – now in their fourth year – give schools, students, businesses, individuals and households an opportunity to be recognised for the positive difference they are making to Greater Dandenong’s environmental sustainability.
Award categories include the Sustainable Business Award, the Sustainable Community Award and the Sustainable Development Award.
Council will also be running a video competition around the theme of Healthy Waterways.
The competition is open to young people aged 5 to 25 who live, work or play in the City of Greater Dandenong.
Entries in all four categories close at 4pm, Thursday 25 January. Winners will be notified in mid-February and will receive their prizes as part of the Family Sustainability Festival at Dandenong Market on Sunday 4 March 2018.
