The City of Greater Dandenong is encouraging businesses and residents to spread some Christmas cheer by decorating their houses and shop fronts.
Greater Dandenong Mayor Councillor Youhorn Chea said seeing people’s houses and shop fronts decorated with Christmas lights and decorations added to the magic of this time of year.
“We know a lot of people in our city invest a lot of time and effort to make our city even more vibrant and welcoming at this time of year,” he said.
“This is our way of acknowledging their contribution and celebrating all the colour and wonder that Christmas brings.”
Mayor Chea will judge the Best Retail Premises and Best Residential Property in Greater Dandenong. Each winner will receive $1,500.
