Planning Scheme Amendment C207

The City of Greater Dandenong has prepared Amendment C207 to the Greater Dandenong Planning Scheme and is the planning authority exhibiting the Amendment.

The Amendment applies to two properties within the municipality; 90 Gove Street, Springvale and 6-8 Fifth Avenue, Dandenong.

What changes are proposed?

The Amendment proposes to rezone two properties in Springvale and Dandenong in accordance with recommendations supported at the Council meeting on 27 August 2018.

The amendment will:

  • Rezone 90 Gove Street, Springvale from General Residential Zone 1 to Public Park and Recreation Zone
  • Rezone 6-8 Fifth Avenue, Dandenong from General Residential Zone 1 to Public Park and Recreation Zone
  • Amend Planning Scheme Maps 1 and 5

Where you may inspect the Amendment

The Amendment documents can be inspected free of charge at any one of Council’s Customer Service Centres or can be viewed the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) website at www.planning.vic.gov.au/public-inspection.

Current status

At the Ordinary Council Meeting on 8 July 2019, Council resolved to adopt Amendment C207 and to forward the documentation to the Minister for Planning for approval in accordance with section 31(1) of the Planning and Environment Act 1987.
