Climate Changers Program
The Climate Changers program is for young people aged 16-25 years who are passionate about the environment.
The program provides a unique opportunity for participants to get involved in the local community, learn leadership and advocacy skills, and to work with likeminded individuals to take positive action on climate change.
What does the program involve?
- Learn strategies to tackle climate change and protect the environment
- Build your advocacy skills (including community engagement and campagning tactics)
- Work with a team to deliver a community project and create a positive environmental impact
- Gain experience in project planning, management and evaluation
Climate Changers is a 12-week program. Meetings will be held every second Wednesday in Terms 3 & 4, 2019.
When: Wednesdays (fortnightly) starting Wednesday 17 July
Time: 4:30 - 6:30pm
Location: 39 Clow Street, Dandenong
How do I register?
To register you must be aged between 16 - 25 years and live, work, study or have a significant connection to the City of Greater Dandenong.
