Faces of Harmony: Students and Families of Dandenong Primary School
Dandenong Primary School serves what is now Australia’s number one most culturally diverse community. The school is home to children, families and staff from all corners of the world who come together to learn, teach and to celebrate our nation’s cultural diversity.
In 2019, the school invited children and families to dress in cultural attire as part of Harmony Week celebrations. This special moment in time was captured by talented Melbourne photographer, Julieanne Perara.
Harmony celebrations are about inclusiveness, respect, freedom, friendship and a sense of belonging. Harmony week is a significant celebration for the Dandenong Primary School Community.
